No! Once you purchase the software, there are no monthly charges, no recurring fees and no maintenance fees. It's yours forever. (Excluding optional hosting)

While you might think it would be easier and less costly for us to have you install it yourself, it actually isn't. Since we designed the program, we know know exactly how it works. Installing scripts such as this is not like installing software on your PC. Every server is configured differently and the software is not installed one certain way. We've installed it on many servers and know how to troubleshoot problems and to configure it optimally. Teaching you how to install the program, or supporting it after you've created problems, would take us hours or days to fix. If we didn't install it, we would have no way of knowing whether it was done correctly, therefore couldn't support it.

I'm a webmaster and can copy sites myself. Why do I need this?

The simple answer is, to save you time and money. SRW automates tasks for you and so much more. For a more specific answer, view our real life example.

Can I use Frontpage or other programs to create my master websites?

Yes! You can create your master websites any way you want.

I don't have a website or know about hosting, can I still use SRW?

Yes! Anyone can use SRW regardless of experience. It doesn't matter whether you have a "Home Page" of your own or not. SRW runs in the background and no one knows it's there. Of course, to use SRW you will need a master website to replicate. If you can't create one yourself, there are lots of people that can do it for you. In many cases, our customers replicate websites they've received with a resellable product they've purchased.

Will my customers be able to edit or add things to their sites?

No. You replicate websites via your admin center and can also update them from there. The benefit of SRW is that customers don't know their site is being replicated with a program like this. They'll think you've spent hours creating & customizing it! SRW can be your "secret weapon" to earn profitable hosting fees, just as it is ours.

Can the software be installed on a website form a "free host" company?

No. Free host companies usually don't offer the features or resources needed.

Is this a CGI script that you upload to the server that hosts my site and will you need my passwords?

Yes, this is a CGI script that we can either install on your current website or a new one that we host. We will need FTP access to the website to install the software.

To manage the software, you should a version 4 or higher Java enabled browser. (i.e. Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer or AOL. (3.2+ Browsers should work too)

How do I track sales from each replicated site?

This is not MLM a self-replicating or order tracking program. It is more flexible. Depending on your marketing plan, you can design replicated sites to handle orders several ways. Below are the two most common, the first being the recommended:

1. Customers handle their own orders: You replicate and host the site and then your work is done. Customers promote their website and fulfill their own orders.

2. You handle all orders: You replicate and host the site, your clients promote it, and all orders go to you. By including a customer ID in each order page, you will easily know which reseller to credit for the sale. These sales are tracked by you.

Can I run SiteReplicator Wizard™ on more than one domain?

To run on more than one website you will need to purchase additional licenses at a discount. See our reseller licenses for more information.

What is the "cron" function you mention in the server requirements?

Cron is a function on a Unix web server that enables programs/cgi scripts to be run automatically at a certain time each day, week or month. With SRW, cron is used to send automatic email renewals and auto-delete websites. Some host providers do NOT allow you to run "cron jobs" on your web site. Ask your host provider's tech support if you are allowed to run a "cron job" on your web site. If not, we have a built in feature you can use that will perform the function of the cron with a push of a button from your admin panel. (NT cannot run CRON and must use this feature)

No, the script source code, html files or images cannot be changed.

It will run on almost all domain websites that allow you to run CGI scripts and has perl 5+ installed. Most web hosting services meet these requirements and any host that doesn't is probably not suitable for business use. For more information on our requirements, click here. I sell a product with reproduction rights and want to give my customers a free website so they can market it like I do. I want each customer to receive and process their own orders so they have control and appear as the source. How Is this possible?

Good question. Not only is this possible, but this is exactly how we use it. When you create the master website that promotes the product, you will design the order page a little differently than the rest, depending on the features you want to offer and whether you are replicating websites on a secure server. If you want orders to only be processed via mail, then it's simple. Just create and replicate a standard form that the user completes, prints and mails. If you want each site to accept credit cards online, then you will either need to replicate the sites on a secure server, or have the order page link to an order form on a secure server. We give you a sample form to use with both secure online and by mail.
