SRW has a built-in Expire program, which when run will do the following:
There are two ways for the Expire program to be run. The first is totally automated via CRON and the second is semi-automated via the "Force Renew/Delete" button.
Cron is a function on Unix servers that enables you to schedule programs to run automatically. In the case of SRW, a Cron can be set to run the Expire program, such as once a day.
If SRW was installed on a domain hosted with us, then the Cron is set to run once a day. If we installed it with your own hosting company, then we would have notified you if a Cron was not able to be set up. Not all hosting companies allow Crons to be scheduled, which is why we created the Force "Renew/Delete" feature.
If a Cron was not able to be scheduled on your server, then you will need to click the "Force Renew/Delete" button, which will run the Expire program.

When using this feature, keep in mind that renewal emails will only be sent from the "pre-expire date" until the day the site is expired. If you are using this function to send renewal emails, then be sure to do it during the this time period before it expires. You can view reports to see when sites expire. All sites that are expired will be deleted using this function.
You can run this feature anytime you like, even if you have a Cron scheduled.
The Expire/Renewal Email and the auto-deletion of expired websites
are optional functions that you can turn on and off via the admin Settings screen.
